An artwork does not carry an intact meaning as it moves between studio, exhibition, archive, publication and institution — each passage changes what is being carried, and DiscourseTransformation is the operator that makes those changes attributable rather than treating movement as neutral. ContextReadymade names the way institutional framing reorganizes the status of an object, document or gesture the instant it changes rooms, so that the same material object can arrive as evidence in one context and as artwork in the next.
